You Can Help Recycle New Zealand’s Waste Tyres
Carbon Recovery Ltd is a New Zealand owned company dedicated to tyre recovery and recycling of New Zealand’s waste tyres or as they are sometimes called, end-of-life tyres.
Each year New Zealand produces about four million end-of-life tyres. Many of those end-of-life tyres end up being buried in our landfills.
Tyres are incredibly tough – they don’t break down – and they don’t belong in our landfills or dumped into gullies or waterways. Besides, even when tyres have reached the end of their useful life they are still a valuable resource and shouldn’t be thrown away. They can be collected back and made into useful products.
We’re launching a new tyre recycling programme called Tyre Back. Call us today about recycling your scrap tyres. We’ll take tyres from bicycles to mining trucks.
All scrap tyres are chipped and made into products that will be reused again.
Carbon Recovery Ltd is woking with tyres shops, trucking and bus companies, local councils, regional councils and central government to find better ways to deal with our end-of-life tyres.
Become a recycling partner with Carbon Recovery and join our Tyre Back Programme. We can collect your scrap tyres or you can bring them directly to our processing centre in the Waikato.
