ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY FOR CARBON RECOVERY LTD
We recognise that our company has an important role to play in protecting and enhancing the environment for future generations, and to help secure the long-term sustainability of our business and the companies we work with. We have embraced a zero waste to landfill policy by valuing all resources that can be recovered with the technology available.
To this end, we are committed to work toward the following by setting specific performance targets. In addition to comply fully with relevant environmental legislation, we aim:
- To minimise our use of energy, water, materials and other resources
- To minimise our waste and reduce, reuse and recycle wherever practical
- To implement and design initiatives to minimise waste generation
- To work in partnership with suppliers and contractors to improve our environmental performance
- To openly communicate our policies and practices to interested parties and to work toward zero waste
- To monitor and review our performance against targets on an annual basis to enable continuous improvements
